Exodos Ministry Team

Curt Rainey, currently serving as the President of Exodos Ministries, is also Pastor of First Baptist Church of Holt, Fl.  Pastor Curt has an Advanced Masters of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  After completing his degree and serving as a student pastor in Ft Worth, Texas he returned to FBC-Holt in May 2011 as Senior Pastor.  He and his wife Ruth have three children: Jake (22), Allison (20) and Joshua (18). Pastor Curt has a Minister's heart for the recovering addict as well as a stong desire for discipleship and evangelism, not only at Exodos, but throughout the Holt, Florida Community.

Tom Crowson, with his wife Kyra, are the founding directors of the minisry.  Tom lived through his own 10-year battle with prescription drugs and professes that God allowed it all to prepare him for "such a time as this".  After experiencing Christ's deliverance Tom proclaims that, "God took my worst mistakes and used them to refine me and open my eyes to His purpose."  Tom and a group of other convicted Christians obeyed God's direction and opened Exodos Ministries in 2007.

Tom has a B.A. in Business Communications and a B.A. in Education.  Tom spent 16 years teaching and coaching in public schools and believes that God was preparing him all along to lead men to Christ through Exodos Ministries.

Kyra Crowson is our Admissions Director and Exodos Families ministry leader, with her husband Tom, is one of the founding directors of the ministry.  She is also a women’s teacher and speaker who is passionate about “inspiring ladies to fall in love with Christ by savoring His love letter to them”.  Kyra challenges women to open their hearts and “snuggle into Jesus because romance with Him is beyond a girl’s wildest imagination”.

Kyra, her husband Tom and their four boys believe that God allowed them to experience the heartache and trial of drug addiction and its effects on the whole family so that they might reach out to others and share the victory available in Christ Jesus.  Kyra testifies that she can gladly say with Joseph of the Old Testament that what Satan, “intended (to use) to harm (us), God intended for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives”.  Kyra believes that “when a man is enslaved to chemical addiction, the whole family lives in bondage and needs the healing and freedom that only Christ can give.
